International Winter School “Democracy – Language – Participation”

The one-week conference is part of the DAAD “Get Ready for Global Teaching!” programme (2025-2029) at PH Karlsruhe. Visiting lecturers from our partner universitites in Northern Ireland, Israel, Ghana, Cameroon, and newly South Africa will cooperate with local students and colleagues to deepen our understanding of how democracy, language, and participation intersect and how language can be a tool for both exclusion and empowerment in democratic societies.
